Q. What is Pop Art Pixies?

A. Pop Art Pixies is a fun, creative and safe social networking site where you can join us -- the Pop Art Pixies -- for artistic projects, intriguing challenges, and self-expression. You can bring your friends here, too -- or make new ones! Share your creations with your friends, and use your designs on our special products..

Q. How do I edit my profile?

A. Click on “My Profile” located to the left of your avatar. On your profile page, click “Edit Profile” located at the top right of your profile area. There you can choose things about yourself such as your mood, favorite color, likes and dislikes, and more! Don’t forget to click “Save” at the bottom of the page when you’ve made all your choices.

Q. How do I create my avatar?

A. Click on “My Profile” located to the left of your avatar. On your profile page, click “Create New Avatar” located below the default avatar. On the “Create An Avatar” page, you have several options at the bottom to dress up your avatar with items like hair color/style and different outfits. Use the small white arrows to jump to each of the items, and use the larger arrows to scroll through all the options for each item. Use the tools on the left to arrange or remove things. When you are satisfied with your avatar, click “Save” at the bottom right side of the page. You will be asked to name your avatar, and you can choose to save it in your profile gallery, or you can save it in both your profile gallery and the public gallery. Once the avatar is approved, it will show up!

Q. How do I upload a photo?

A. Click on “My Profile” located to the left of your avatar. To the right of your profile area in your Gallery, click the “Upload A Photo” camera. You will be asked to name your photo, then “Browse” your computer files for the photo you want to use. Click “Upload” to submit your photo for approval. Once it is approved, it will show up in the “Photos” section of your gallery.

Q. What is the Pop Art Pixies photo upload policy?

A. The Pop Art Pixies want to see your creativity, so they would like you to upload only images and materials you made yourself. It is unfair to others when you upload their images or materials without their knowledge or consent. Also, you may not upload anything hurtful, upsetting or offensive to others on this site. Q. What are Charms, and how do I get them?

A. Charms are special icons you earn for your profile by having fun with Pop Art Pixies and your friends. To see the Charms and how you can earn each one, click on “Charms - What’s This?” under your avatar on your profile page.

Q. How can I get my friends to join Pop Art Pixies?

A. Click the “Invite Someone” link at the top of the page. Enter your friend’s e-mail address, then click “Send Invite.” An e-mail will be sent to your friend with directions on how to join Pop Art Pixies.

Q. What are Friend Requests and what do I do with them?

A. You can find the profiles of your friends on Pop Art Pixies. When you do, you can click the “Add This Friend” link in their profile. A Friend Request will be sent to them to either accept or not. Also, your friends can send you a Friend Request from your profile. When the Friend Request shows up under your avatar, you can either accept it or not.

Q. How do I create Pop Art Pixies designs?

A. Click on “Collage Activities” to create art for projects such as Maya’s Shadow Box Maker or Tatum’s Greeting Card Maker. When you click each of the projects, you have several options at the bottom for different items you can use in your design. Use the small white arrows to jump to each of the items, and use the larger arrows to scroll through all the options for each item. Use the tools on the left to arrange or remove things. When you are satisfied with your design, click “Save” at the bottom right side of the page. You will be asked to name your design, and you can choose to save it in your profile gallery, or you can save it in both your profile gallery and the public gallery. Once the design is approved, it will show up!

Q. I just created a design, but it isn’t showing up anywhere. Why?

A. All designs are subject to Pop Art Pixies review before they are posted. Once your design has been reviewed and approved by Pop Art Pixies, it will be available for you to view, use or share within 48 hours.

Q. Who can see the designs I create?

A. If you save your design only in your profile gallery, only you can view the design. If you choose to save your design in both your profile gallery and the public gallery, then anyone can see your design.

Q. How do I customize Pop Art Pixies products?

A. On the “Our Products” page, first choose the product you want to customize. On the product page, click the “Download Instructions” link in the “Product Description” box. Follow the instructions in the download.
